Dojo Locations


Dojo are classed as the following categories:
  • So-Honbu (総本部) General Headquarters, Kodokan Taira Karate Dojo in Okinawa.
  • Shibu-Honbu (支部本部) Branch headquarters for the country.
  • Shibu (支部) Official branch dojo of the WMKA.
  • Fuku-Shibu (副支部) Sub-branch dojo supervised by a branch dojo.

Additionally, the dojo owner / dojo head is referred to as Kancho (館長).
